On Friday February 17th, Villains played a sold out show at MOJO Main in Newark, DE. They were joined by Newark natives Robot House, Tail, Atlas and Mean Lady…. It was quite the sweaty time… SEE YOU IN MARCH!
So 2011 has passed. And for the band it was an incredibly busy and eventful year: Villains played in excess of 50 shows at new venues such as the Rock N Roll Hotel (Washington D.C.) to the World Cafe Live at The Queen Theater (Wilmington, DE), to PIANOS (NY, NY)! …They reeled in Halloween as Cream, playing 2 sets of favorites of the famed British rock band… They had guests and friends (too many to name) play and banter about on stage at most every show… Their debut album “Black Jackets” was released in March to much praise (Thank you!)
And it only gets better..
2012 is on the horizon for the band. It will be a year full of new songs, new venues, new special guests and new risks! To start off the year, the Villains will go back to their roots….. playing an underground house party in their former hometown of Newark on Sat. January 14th..
Their first “official” show will be “Rock The Barn” at the Arden Guild Hall. It will be the first time ever playing the historic, 150 year-old Guild Hall. They will be joined by Still Moon Servants, Stallions, and Revolution I Love You.
