On SATURDAY OCTOBER 29TH, for what is sure to be one of Newark’s weirdest and most epic musical nights in a very long time..we ask the town to OCCUPY HOMEGROWN
Starting the night (9 p.m.) will be one of Newark’s hottest up & coming instrumental rock trios..TAIL. They will be joined on stage by friends as they portray THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE. Consisting of Jaret Salvat-Rivera on guitar, Tyler Yoder on bass, and Ryan Williams on drums, the band will take the music of Hendrix to a whole new level.
The Villains will follow with their own interpretation of one of the 1960s most influential bands, CREAM. Sure enough will you hear “Sunshine of Your Love”, along with many other gems in the CREAM catalog.
HOMEGROWN, as always, sports NO COVER. Saturday will be no different! Drink specials and a SECOND BAR for easy access to all the spirits.
Remember: RAGEFACE and watch out for kool-aid!
